Friends of All Saints

The Friends is a group that enables villagers and those with a link to the village to be connected to All Saints. A membership is paid and events organised that support developmental work of the fabric of the building. It does not fund day to day running costs. The church is available for the whole village, regardless of a person’s faith. This group is a means by which this availability can be appreciated and responded to.

Funds raised have provided the bell system that can be heard announcing worship and the hour and half-hour westminster chimes across the village. The clock for this system is linked to an atomic clock for accuracy. The Friends have supported the funds of the new Chapter House and paid for the provision of a slate path along the north wall. Any funds raised can only be expended on the church with the agreement of the PCC who remain the custodians of the building and to which the Friends report.
